PURPOSE
These videos were created to capture the atmosphere of The Green’s live performances, fan interactions, and ongoing presence as a Billboard chart-topping Hawaiʻi reggae band. The work served both promotional and documentary purposes, helping support tour marketing, concert promotion, music release campaigns, and the band’s broader connection with their audience across live and digital platforms. The content also reflects the scale of the band’s reach, documenting performances in sold-out venues of up to 10,000 people while still preserving the personal and community-driven feel that defines their shows.
PRODUCT
Deliverables have expanded across a wide range of short-form and long-form content. Released work includes concert recaps, meet-and-greet coverage, and promotional social reels designed to build excitement around tour stops and live performances. Additional projects have included content for album and single announcements, unreleased campaign materials, and longer interview-driven pieces. I have also contributed coverage from major live events, including being flown to California to shoot the band’s performance at Holoholo Festival. While only the short-form content has been publicly released so far, the body of work spans social-first deliverables, live event coverage, and artist-focused promotional storytelling.
PROCESS
My work with The Green has grown from a single concert coverage opportunity into an ongoing creative relationship with both the band and its management team. I have filmed and edited concert recaps, promotional reels, and social content across multiple events, while also contributing to unreleased projects tied to music rollouts and future campaigns. This has included shooting live performances in Hawaiʻi and California, creating hype content for shows while the band is on tour, and helping develop visual materials for both released and unreleased music-related projects. Across each piece, I’ve focused on capturing the band’s live energy, audience connection, and identity in a way that feels authentic to both the music and the community around it, whether in intimate fan moments or sold-out venues holding thousands.
SPECIAL THANKS
Mahalo to Jesse Yonover for bringing me onto this project and contributing drone videography for the Oʻahu show.
