PURPOSE
The intro was designed to ignite energy in the arena and hype up the crowd before tipoff at every home game. It served as a showcase of the players and the team’s identity heading into the season.
PRODUCT
A 1:10 videoboard hype video, played at all Colorado Women’s Basketball home games throughout the 2023 season.
PROCESS
During my freshman year, I was given the opportunity by Will Insull to edit the Women’s Basketball intro video for the 2023 season. Using footage he shot, I crafted the edit in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, focusing on pacing, energy, and effects that would translate powerfully on the videoboard.
