I spent a day at Chargers training camp as a production assistant for NFL Daily, a live-to-tape podcast shoot that featured Cameron Dicker and Mike McDaniel as guests. My job was support, but the value was in watching how a podcast crew works around talent with limited windows. Players and coaches at camp give you the time they give you, and the entire production has to be ready to move the moment they walk in. Seeing a team handle that without the guests ever feeling the pressure of it was the takeaway.
