PURPOSE
Two Circles brought me on as editor for the Premier League's Coast to Coast Kick Off in Denver, the official Arsenal watch party for the club's 2026-27 season opener. Arsenal came into the day as the reigning Premier League champions, opening their title defense against Aston Villa, and the event at McGregor Square on August 21 gave Denver fans a chance to watch the match together, see the Premier League Trophy in person, and meet a club legend, all part of a Coast to Coast campaign the league ran across 15 U.S. cities. My job was to turn the day into content for the Premier League and Arsenal, both in real time during the event and again afterward with a standalone recap.
PRODUCT
The event turnaround content, delivered across social and TV, has earned over 1 million views to date. Alongside that real-time coverage, I was tasked with a full event recap due the next day, which I delivered the final within 24 hours. The recap was a 60-second storytelling edit built from 6 interviews shot on the fly during the event, combined with extensive B-roll from two shooters, Landyn Goldberg and Max Sturgill, cut into a single narrative piece.
PROCESS
Working under contract with Two Circles, I handled editorial duties across both tracks of the project simultaneously. During the event, I managed the turnaround pipeline for social and TV content as footage came in, keeping pace with a live watch party built around the season opener, the trophy, and the legend's appearance. For the recap, Landyn Goldberg and Max Sturgill handled interviews and B-roll on the ground, and I built that footage into a 60-second story within 12 hours of the event kicking off, beating the next-day deadline. Compressing that process meant working fast without losing the storytelling that made the recap worth watching.
