The preview was created to generate excitement and momentum in the final hours before kickoff, reminding fans of the program’s journey while pointing toward the fresh opportunities of the Big 12.
— PURPOSE
A 1:30 social media hype video released 24 hours before the first game of the season, designed to energize fans and set the stage for the year ahead.
— PRODUCT
After returning to Boulder early from summer break, I reached out to Serena Archer, CU’s Director of Digital Content, and was tasked with creating a season preview video ahead of the opener. I sifted through highlights from the previous season to craft a narrative that reflected Coach Prime’s first year at Colorado while setting the stage for the program’s move into the Big 12. Editing focused on pacing and tone, building anticipation for the new era of Buffs football.
