TIMELINE:

The runout video was created to serve as the pre-game spark for CU Basketball, immersing fans in the spirit of Boulder while fueling the team’s adrenaline before tipoff. It aimed to connect community and program identity in a way that felt both cinematic and electrifying inside the arena.

— PURPOSE

A 45-second videoboard hype video played before team introductions and tunnel runouts, blending Pearl Street visuals with CU Basketball highlights to amplify the game-day atmosphere.

— PRODUCT

I developed the original concept for this project and pitched it to Serena Archer, CU’s Director of Digital Content. After approval, I led a location shoot on Boulder’s iconic Pearl Street with several players to capture the energy and identity of the community. Using that footage, along with select material from previous shoots, I built a high-energy edit designed to maximize hype as the team prepared to take the court.
